Breaking News: Okowa Uplifts Lockdown, Orders Compulsory Use of Face Masks in Delta

The executive governor of Delta state, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has uplifted the lockdown order in the state, while ordering that social distancing be put in check. The governor in a state wide broadcast also directed the compulsory use of face masks in public places while the state borders remain open to only agricultural, petroleum food and other essential services. Curfew is still in place until 2 weeks time. 🍭 All Deltans Must Make Sure They Make Use Of Face Mask With Effect From 30Th April 2020. 🍭 18 seated buses to carry 10 passengers henceforth, keke napep tricycle to carry 2 passengers only. 🍭 Delta State Government will commence the distribution of the 1 million Face mask in the state. 🍭 Restaurant are only allowed on takeaway. 🍭 Marriage and burial ceremony can hold but must not gather more than 50 persons. 🍭 Inter-state movement is still restricted unless those on essential services trips.
