Hon. Andrew Igban Omagbemi hails from Warri South West LGA, Delta State and holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in Political Science from the Ambrose Ali University.

He is a successful businessman with the passion to impact positively on the lives of his people. As a humanitarian and philanthropist, Mr. Igban has engaged in several human capital development projects which have benefitted Deltans.

He is the President of the  Eric Igban Foundation which has been in existence since 2010. Through this foundation, over 500 persons have been trained and positioned to meet their livelihood targets. These trainings range from educational enlightenment aimed at reading and writing as well as engagement on various skill acquisitions and capacity development trainings.

Mr. Andrew Igban have also engaged in the provision of other capacity development programs which includes but not limited to:

Ø  Registration and sponsorship   delta students for various National Examinations such as JAMB, NECO, WAEC & GCE etc.

Ø  Sponsorship of Vocational Trainings and Skill Acquisition of some Nigeria Youths in Wawe International Training Center in Warri. These trainings include: Electrical & Instrumentation, Welder’s training, Rigging and Lifting as well as other Marine Engineering schemes.

Ø  Sponsorship of some Nigerian youths on Provision and Installation of Solar Energy Systems in a company called Asteevens Green Solar Energy in Lagos.

He has also received numerous Awards which are,

Mr. Andrew Igban at several times have supported developmental programs to  Delta students in various Higher Institutions in the country.

He is a complete born Itsekiri son both paternally and maternally whose descent cuts across Warri South-West, Warri North and Warri South Delta state.

He has served on various capacities including: the PDP Youth Leader, Delta South Senatorial District and works as Senior Political aide to Hon. Daniel Mayuku in the Delta State House of Assembly.

He also owned a company known as Ricgban Nigeria Limited, which have handle mega government projects.

In a statement made by the Executive Secretary of the Agency, *Miss Natasha Roli Ajagbawa*, stated that the 2nd edition of the awards is dedicated to *STRENGTHENING DELTA’S DEMOCRATIC FRAMEWORK*, with emphasis on the role of government, institutions and citizens.
Also speaking at the press briefing in Warri the Nigerian  oil city, the chairman award screening committee and MD/CEO Mayorkings Agency, *Comr. Temisan O. Louis* hinted that the 2nd Edition is an upgrade on the 1st Edition from Warri South Legacy Awards to it's current title. He stated this edition of the awards ceremony will be well attended by government officials, dignitaries, distinguished personalities, community and various interest groups across the state to discuss plausible solutions to strengthening Delta’s democratic framework. He also noted that the awards ceremony will be exciting and thrilling as a wide range of guest artiste and performances has been lined up to spice up the event which include but not Limited to Mr Paul, Frank D Don, Mc Koliko, Mc Douglas, Mc Parrot and Host of other Rib Cracking Comedians.
