Hon. Andrew Igban Omagbemi hails from Warri South West LGA, Delta State and holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in Political Science from the Ambrose Ali University.

He is a successful businessman with the passion to impact positively on the lives of his people. As a humanitarian and philanthropist, Mr. Igban has engaged in several human capital development projects which have benefitted Deltans.

He is the President of the  Eric Igban Foundation which has been in existence since 2010. Through this foundation, over 500 persons have been trained and positioned to meet their livelihood targets. These trainings range from educational enlightenment aimed at reading and writing as well as engagement on various skill acquisitions and capacity development trainings.

Mr. Andrew Igban have also engaged in the provision of other capacity development programs which includes but not limited to:

Ø  Registration and sponsorship   delta students for various National Examinations such as JAMB, NECO, WAEC & GCE etc.

Ø  Sponsorship of Vocational Trainings and Skill Acquisition of some Nigeria Youths in Wawe International Training Center in Warri. These trainings include: Electrical & Instrumentation, Welder’s training, Rigging and Lifting as well as other Marine Engineering schemes.

Political Communication Strategist (PCS) and Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Communications, Dr (Barrister) Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, has said that the very essence of the Youth Agriculture and Skills Training Entrepreneurship Programmes (YAGEP and STEP) of Gov Okowa administration is to continually raise thousands of young millionaires in fulfilment of his (H.E. Okowa) prosperity for all Deltans mantra.

Oghenesivbe, made the assertion on Monday 3rd December, while receiving the 2018 Entrepreneurship Advocacy and Youth Empowerment Special Award in his Asaba office; presented by the organizers of Face Of Entrepreneurship Nigeria Reality Contest And The Nigerian MSMEs & Achievers Awards 2018, held last Friday 30th November, at BON Hotel (formerly Protea Hotel), Warri.

Gov Okowa's EA Communications further disclosed that since the commencement of the YAGEP and STEP programmes, over 6,000 youths and Women in the state have benefited through various specialised vocational and skills training supported by starter packs and strategic funding via the State Small and Medium enterprises Loans Scheme specifically put in place by this administration for that purpose.

"The sole objective of YAGEP and STEP socioeconomic programmes of this administration is to radically and progressively deemphasize the crave and or yearning for white-colour jobs that are rarely available to engage thousands of our young graduates produced in various institutions of higher learning in the state and around the country.

"The programmes have yielded tremendous results to the extent that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEC), the World Bank (WB) and several other local and international donor agencies have thrown their  weights behind the YAGEP and STEP programmes due largely to the huge success so far recorded; and by extension the transparency rooted in the selection of participants across the three senatorial districts of Delta North, Central and South.

"Gov Okowa's vision is to give us a new Delta where prosperity is genuinely guaranteed through technical education, skills acquisition and vocational training so that our young graduates and women becomes employers of labour and joyful bread winners for their families; and by so doing contributing towards the growth of the state and national economy.

"It is therefore the duty of our youth to mobilize extensively for the re-election of Gov Okowa in 2019, so as to sustain the ongoing human capital and infrastructure development in the state," Oghenesivbe said.

Winner of the 2018 Face Of Entrepreneurship Nigeria, Miss Sandra Oyenka a Native of Ika South LGA of Delta State, while presenting the Award to Latimore Oghenesivbe, said she will partner with the state government especially the Office Of the Chief Job Creation Officer, to further sensitize youth on the numerous advantages of participating in the YAGEP and STEP programmes of Gov Okowa administration.

She noted that the award recipient (Oghenesivbe) has done well in Entrepreneurship advocacy and Youth empowerment, without necessarily blowing his trumpet on rooftop in line with biblical injunction which States that "do not let your left hand know what your right hand has given so as to guarantee your effectual rewards in heaven."

Oyenka humorously added that the dreaded skills of Gov Okowa's EA COmmunications does not reflect in his interpersonal relationship with people, a clear indication of his uncommon humility and respect for others outside the conventional political engagements via the mass media.

Spokesperson for the organizers and Principal Partner and CEO at MayorKings Agency, Comrade Louis Temisan, congratulated Oghenesivbe, and urged him not to relent in his positive efforts especially in the area of consistent youth empowerment in whatever manner, adding that the scourge of Yahoo Plus in the state and other parts of the country, have been traced to joblessness, frustration and greed by some youths who wants to get rich quickly without genuine efforts for job and wealth creation.

Oghenesivbe dedicated the Award to God Almighty who endowed him with so much rigour, grace and favour; and to all young creative  entrepreneurs in Delta State in particular and around the world.

Hon. Julius Pondi

Julius Gbabojor Pondi born 1978 is a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing the Burutu Federal Constituency of Delta State Nigeria, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He attended B.Tech senior secondary school, Nana College, Ugborkoko Secondary School and Keffi Academy.  In the year 2009, he graduated from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri. Before becoming a Legislator, Julius served as a Councilor in his local government. Julius Gbabojor Pondi was elected into the Federal House of Representatives in the year 2015, to represent the Burutu Federal Constituency of Delta , under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). His legislative interest border on performing an oversight function effectively, and he targets to effectively represent his people.

Recall Hon. Julius Pondi's annual constituency empowerment programs, over the years since 2015 after his elections, he has empowered well over 2,000 constituents for the period of 3yrs in office.

He also Host the Julius Pondi annual Peace football tournaments to foster peace within the constituency and by extension Niger Delta at large.
Hon.Julius Pondi had proven beyond reasonable doubt that he was never a mistake given the opportunity to serve his people at the Green Chambers of the National Assembly.

His love for legislative duties has spurred him yet again to seek the support of the people of Burutu Federal Constituency to elect him to complete the developmental stride currently ongoing.
